Terms and Conditions

Definitions of Law

1.1 The Equipment shall mean goods, components or other items hired or sold by Louder Audio Productions.

1.2 The “Customer” is the person, firm, corporate or public body, hereafter referred to as “You” or “The Customer”, hiring or purchasing the Equipment.

1.3 The “Company” is Louder Audio Productions hereafter referred to as “Us” “We” or “The Company”

1.4 Consequential Loss shall mean loss of profits, contracts or any other consequential loss or damages whatsoever.

1.5 The contract shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with English Law and the Parties to this contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of The English Courts.


Charges

2.1 The charges due are as stated and agreed on the contract.

2.2 Hire charges commence from the date stated in the contract and are payable for the period of hire.

2.3 Unless other arrangements have been made, Equipment must be returned by 12 noon on the date specified in the contract, in a clean and serviceable Condition.

2.4 In event of a breach of these conditions or the equipment not being available for use by other customers, the customer will pay the full daily hire rate together with consequential loss.

2.5 At the discretion of Louder Audio Productions, the customer may be charged in full if a contract of hire is cancelled at any time.

2.6 All cables must be returned coiled and taped, or a charge will be made per cable at the discretion of The Company.

2.7 All spares, tools and other additional equipment supplied with the hire, must be returned, or The Customer will be charged in full for their replacement.

2.8 Any legal or other charges incurred in the recovery of money or of equipment shall be paid by The Customer.

2.9 All charges are payable on demand and failure to meet payment terms will result in any discounts given being lost and interest will be charged at the standard rate.


Hire Period

3.1 The hire period commences and terminates at the times specified and agreed in the contract.


Cancellation fee

4.1 A cancellation fee is charged, for any cancellation of hire from 90 days of the hire date at 50%. For cancellation of hire from 28 days or less of the hire date the full cost of the hire will be charged.

4.2 A early cancellation fee will be charged, for any cancellation of short or long term hire during the term of the hire. Cancellations that fall under half of the term of the hire will be charged to The Hirer at 75% of the total hire cost. Cancellations that fall over half of the term of the hire will be charged to The Hirer at the full cost of the hire.


Power to enter this contract

5.1 The signatory to the contract warrants that they are duly authorised on The Customers behalf to enter into the contract.

5.2 If this is not the case, the signatory personally indemnifies Louder Audio Productions, against all losses and costs that may be incurred by Louder Audio Productions.


Customers Responsibilities

6.1 The customer’s responsibility for the equipment commences on receipt of the equipment, and terminates when the customer receives a receipt for the return of the equipment.

6.2 At no time shall the customer sell, dispose or otherwise part with control of the equipment.

6.3 It is the customer’s responsibility that everyone who uses the equipment has been instructed in its safe and proper operation, and further will not allow the equipment to be misused.

6.4 Louder Audio Productions cannot be held responsible for any financial loss, personal injury or damage to or loss of any property arising as a result of the use of the equipment.

6.5 Louder Audio Productions can not be held liable for any financial loss or loss of business caused by equipment failures or failure to supply equipment or services in any circumstances.

6.6 The equipment must not move from the site specified in the contract without prior authorisation from Louder Audio Productions.


Electrical Equipment

7.1 Any electrical equipment should be used with plugs and/or sockets as fitted.

7.2 If any plugs or sockets are to be fitted, or the Equipment otherwise modified by the customer, such work will be carried out by a competent person who shall also reinstate the equipment to the same original condition prior to return. Before any electrical alterations take place written permission must first be obtained from the Company.

7.3 It is the responsibility of the customer at all times to provide a proper supply of electrical for use with the equipment and ensure the equipment is properly earthed.


Equipment Maintenance

8.1 The customer shall not act to compromise the serviceability of the equipment during the hire period.

8.2 Any breakdown or unsatisfactory working of equipment shall be immediately notified to Louder Audio Productions.

8.3 Under no circumstances shall the customer attempt to repair the equipment without prior authorisation from Louder Audio Productions.


Faulty Equipment

9.1 Any equipment found to be faulty should be reported to Louder Audio Productions staff member immediately - failure to do so will result in full hire charges being due.


Compatibility of Equipment

10.1 It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the equipment is compatible and may safely be used with other equipment being used by the customer.

10.2 The customer shall be responsible for ensuring that the equipment is suitable for the purposes.


Insurance

11.1 The customer agrees to pay the Company the full replacement cost of any equipment lost, stolen or damaged beyond economic repair (without deduction for usage, wear and tear, or age).

11.2 The customer shall insure the equipment against the above liability.

11.3 The customer shall not compromise or settle any claim without the express consent of Louder Audio Productions.

11.4 In the case of equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond economic repair, the customer shall pay a charge at the full daily rate together with consequential loss until the equipment is replaced or paid for in full.


Condition of returned equipment

12.1 The customer is fully responsible for the care, safekeeping and return in good order of the equipment.

12.2 The customer will reimburse all costs incurred by Louder Audio Productions in rectifying the condition of any equipment returned damaged or unclean, and in addition will pay a charge at the fully daily hire rate together with consequential loss until the condition is rectified.


Termination of hire

13.1 Louder Audio Productions shall be entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect and to repossess the equipment at any time if the customer is in breach of these terms.

13.2 Such termination shall not affect the right of Louder Audio Productions to recover from the customer any money due under the contract, consequential loss or damages for breach.

13.3 The customer authorises Louder Audio Productions to enter onto any property upon which Louder Audio Productions reasonably believes any equipment to be, and at the absolute discretion of Louder Audio Productions, the equipment may be recovered and removed.


Reproduction of Recorded Music and other licenses

14.1 The hirer shall be responsible for obtaining such licences or permissions as may be required for the public performance of recorded music and for all other activities as required.

14.2 In the case of Wireless Equipment The Hirer shall be responsible for obtaining a suitable license under the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 (WT Act 2006).

14.3 All Wireless Equipment hired from Louder Audio Productions will be put on hire pre tuned. If the Wireless Equipment is re-tuned by The Hirer, it is The Hirers responsibility to obtain a suitable license if spectrum outside of Channel 38 is used.

14.4 All Wireless Equipment hire from Louder Audio Productions on a long term basis will not be covered under our own Standard License. Long term Hirers should obtain their own licensing.

14.5 If you operate equipment without a licence, you can face a fine of up to £5000 and/or serve a prison sentence. Our equipment may also be seized.

14.6 In the event that a Hirer gets caught using any Wireless Equipment hired from Louder Audio Productions outside of there own licensed spectrum, Louder Audio Productions will not be held responsible and a hire charge will be applied until all equipment seized by the authorities is returned. If Equipment is not returned or damaged, The Hirer agrees to pay the Company the full replacement cost of any equipment seized or damaged beyond economic repair whilst seized (without deduction for usage, wear and tear, or age).


Publicity Material

15.1 We reserve the right to make reference to and to use recorded media detailing any work undertaken by us for the sole purpose of publicity of the Company without obtaining further permissions.


Acceptance of terms

16.1 All work undertaken or services provided or goods hired from Louder Audio Productions shall be subject to these conditions and the hirer by authorising or allowing work to proceed or goods to be delivered is deemed to have confirmed the contract and to have accepted these conditions. Further more by accepting these terms the customer personally indemnifies and guarantees payment in the event of the corporate body, organisation or other body being unable to pay any outstanding monies owed for whatever reason.


Equipment & personnel protection

17.1 It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that any equipment on hire is kept free of moisture, liquid or any other contaminants that could damage the equipment.

17.2 It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that adequate security measures are put in place to ensure the safety of our equipment and personnel at all times.


Vehicles on site

18.1 It is the customers responsibility to provide suitable means of access for our vehicles onto and around the site as required. If this results in our vehicles going “off-road” the customer is responsible for any subsequent recovery of the vehicle plus any additional costs accrued.


Ownership

19.1 The equipment shall at all times remain the absolute property of Louder Audio Productions and the hirer shall have no rights to the equipment other than that detailed in this document.


Discounts

20.1 Any discounts given can be withdrawn without notice if payment terms are not met. Outdoor events

20.2 The use of flown PA systems, stage structures, other structures and equipment outdoors are subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to take all necessary precautions to safeguard personnel and equipment if the weather conditions demand such action and without any penalty to ourselves. This could include the non-installation, amended installation or lowering of structures or equipment. The decision as to the correct course of action will be made by a representative of Louder Audio Productions whilst on-site and taking into account all of the factors available.


Additional

21.1 We reserve the right to made additional charges for any equipment or cables that require cleaning on their return.

21.2 We reserve the right to make additional charges for any cables that are not returned correctly coiled and taped.

21.3 We reserve the right to make additional charges for any equipment not returned on the agreed date and where additional arrangements have not been agreed.

21.4 Any discount given will be lost if our payment terms are not met or the equipment is returned late or in an unsatisfactory condition.

21.6 It is the customers responsibility to inform us immediately of any problems encountered with any equipment hired, failure to do this could result in the full hire fee still being charged.

21.7 Where spare lamps are provided, any old lamps must be returned intact otherwise the customer will be charged for the replacement lamp.

21.8 Two forms of identification, Passport, Driving licence etc, must be provided on collection of any hire equipment, failure to provide ID could result in the equipment not being made available and the full hire fee still being levied.

We provide Event Production for the following types of events -

Music Festivals of all sizes. We have catered for audiences of up to 70,000 people and worked with some of the largest acts known to man.

TV and Broadcast. We have supplied equipment and personnel to some of the biggest TV programs to hit our screens in recent years including The Voice UK 2017, The Voice UK 2018,


We supply audio, lighting and AV equipment to music events, live events, corporate events, community events, council events, conferences, product launches, parties and much more.


In 2017 we started working with A Cappella act Vade, winners of the Sky TV show Sing: Ultimate A Cappella. Since then we have also provided production services to Varsity Vocals International Championship of A Cappella including the ICCA Quarter Final at Oxford Universities The Sheldonian Theatre and supplied a complete audio touring package for the Gareth Malone 2018 UK Tour, which features The Swingles.

We supply handheld radio microphone systems that are suitable for A Cappella and Beat Boxing alike and along with our L-Acoustics sound systems it delivers your performance to your audience with maximum clarity, dynamic range and impact.


Louder Audio Productions stocks and hires a large range of professional audio equipment and public address systems. 

We also provide production and event management services utilising years of experience with Live Events, Corporate Events, TV, Film, Broadcast, Theatrical Productions, Tours, Music Festivals and Conferences.


Louder Audio Productions stocks L-Acoustics speakers in its rental stock. Our main system is L-Acoustics Kara, we also stock L-Acoustics SB28, L-Acoustics SB18, L-Acoustics X12, L-Acoustics 12XT, L-Acoustics 8XT, L-Acoustics 5XT, L-Acoustics Arc II, L-Acoustics ARCS WIFO

All of our L-Acoustics systems are driven by L-Acoustics LA8 and LA4X amplifier controllers and are controlled remotely via L-Acoustics Network Manager.


L-Acoustics is now available to hire from louder Audio Productions in Brentwood, Chelmsford, Essex and the South East of England including all London Boroughs.


Louder Audio Productions provides L-Acoustics hire in Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and London. We stock L-Acoustics Kara, X12, 12XT, 8XT, 5XT, SB28, SB18, ARC II, ARCS WIFO LA8 and LA4X.


Louder Audio Productions provides Pioneer Pro Audio DJ hire in Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and London. We stock Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus, DJM 900 Nexus and the RMX 1000. We also stock the Tascam CD500B.


Louder Audio Productions also stocks Lab Gruppen Lake LM44 and LM26 in its rental stock, they provide multiple input and output analog, AES3 and Dante configurations that are suited to a variety of system signal processing and routing applications.


Louder Audio Productions is the best place to hire Yamaha Digital consoles in Brentwood and Chelmsford, Essex. We stock Yamaha QL1, Yamaha QL5, Yamaha CL Series including the CL1, CL3 and CL5.  We also stock the Yamaha Rio 3224-D Stagebox for use with our Dante enabled consoles. We also stock the Yamaha M7CL 48 ES and SB168ES Ethersound stage boxes. Our Yamaha stock also includes a wide range of Yamaha Mini YGDAI MY cards including MY80AD24, MY4-DA, MY8-DA96, MY16-AT, Dante-MY16-AUD, MY16-ES64 and MY16-EX.

All of our Yamaha consoles are available to hire from Brentwood or Chelmsford, Essex, seven days a week on either weekly or daily rates.


Our wide range of Sennheiser Products include both wired and wireless Microphones. Our Sennheiser wireless products also include Sennheiser G3 300 IEM (In Ear Monitor) wireless monitoring systems.

We stock a mixture of Sennheiser SK300 Bodypack Transmitters and SKM300 Handheld Transmitters. A range of options are available with either transmitter types including Sennheiser HSP2, Countryman B3, DPA d:vote 4099, 4060 and 4066 and the Sennheiser MMD 845 capsule.

Antenna distribution is taken care of by the Sennheiser ASA-1 and AC-3 and we stock the Sennheiser A1031-U, A2004-UHF and A5000-CP Antennas.

We use and recommend Ultimate Ears UE 11 in ear monitors and ACS hearing protection.


Our radio microphones include Sennheiser G3 300 and G3 500 models on the new channel 38 frequency band and come with either a belt pack  or a hand held microphone, both of which are suitable for live events and theatre. We stock Sennheiser HSP2 headset microphones and Countryman B3 microphones, which are available for hire with our Sennheiser radio mic hire systems. Our radio mic hire prices are probably the cheapest in Essex. Our Sennheiser radio microphones can be hired in Brentwood , Chelmsford and  the surrounding regions.


Louder Audio Productions has Apple Mac Book Pro’s for hire including the popular Qlab software. Qlab systems are available for long term or short term hire and we have already provided Qlab systems for national tours. Qlab is the best way of cueing sound and video in theatre and is now available for hire from us.


Louder Audio Productions hires radio microphone systems for musical Theatre and Theatre productions and have a large stock of Sennheiser radio mics available for hire at the cheapest rates.

We also stock Personal Mixing Systems that are perfect for musicals and productions with a pit band or small Orchestras. Along with Aviom we also stock Behringer P16i, Behringer P16m and Behringer P16d, this provides a great alternative to the Aviom A360 system and is perfect for productions that are conscious about their budgets.
