Terms and Conditions of Hire and Services.

1. Unless specified, hire charges are based upon a period of one week, or part thereof, irrespective of whether the equipment is in use or not.

 

2. Any equipment returned after the agreed return date will be charged for a minimum of one extra week, regardless of the original hire period.

 

3. The Hirer undertakes to insure the equipment at full replacement value, when away from the premises of Louder Audio Productions Ltd. Louder Audio Productions Ltd can request to see a certificate at any time before or after booking. 

 

4. Full rights of ownership of all hired equipment remains the absolute property of Louder Audio Productions Ltd.

 

5. The hirer undertakes to keep and return the equipment in good order and condition. All hire items will be transported in the flight case that it leaves the care of Louder Audio Productions Ltd in.

 

6. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserves the right to charge for the repair or replacement of equipment, damaged or lost, arising from use by the Hirer. 

 

7. Any equipment damaged or lost during the hire period will be deemed to be on hire until any invoices for repair or replacements relating to the damage or loss of equipment have been paid in full.

 

8. All spares must be returned for inspection otherwise a charge will be made.

 

9. The hirer undertakes the responsibility to replace all broken lamps except those, which fail whilst under normal working conditions. Broken lamps must be returned as proof. 

 

10. Whilst Louder Audio Productions Ltd will always attempt to provide the ordered equipment, we reserve the right to supply suitable substitute equipment if appropriate.

 

11. In the unlikely event that the hired equipment is found to be faulty, Louder Audio Productions Ltd will not be liable for any consequential damage arising, and it shall be the responsibility of the Hirer to return the faulty items to be repaired, immediately. 

 

12. Connectors must not be removed from cables under any circumstances. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserve the right to charge for the inspection and re-fitting of any connectors removed. 

 

13. A charge will be made for any cable returned not coiled and taped. 

 

14. Packaging supplied with any equipment or spares must be returned or a subsequent charge will be made. The case in which any item of equipment is supplied must be used to transport the equipment – Under no circumstances must equipment be removed from its supplied case for transportation / shipping. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserves the right to immediately terminate any hire where equipment has been removed from its case for transport / shipping.

 

15. All hired equipment must be installed and operated by competent person(s). No liability will be accepted for injury to persons or damage to property caused by the improper / inappropriate use of the equipment supplied. 

 

16. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserves the right to charge for the late cancellation of an order.

 

17. It is the hirer's responsibility to comply with all relevant legislation and regulations regarding the use of hired equipment. Equipment confiscated by any authority will remain on hire until returned or replaced at the Hirer's expense. 

 

18. Louder Audio Productions Ltd gives no guarantee that the equipment hired is fit for the purpose/purposes intended by the Hirer. The Hirer warrants that the equipment supplied is suitable for the purpose that is intended for the use of the equipment supplied. 

 

19. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserves the right to inspect any equipment on hire on site, at any reasonable time during the hire period. 

 

20. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserves the right to immediately terminate the hire contract and  remove all hired equipment from site at the discretion of any employee of Louder Audio Productions Ltd at any time during the hire period.

 

21. Although Louder Audio Productions Ltd will use all reasonable endeavors to discharge its obligations under a contract in a prompt and efficient manner, it does not accept responsibility for any failure or delay, caused by circumstances beyond its control. 

 

22. Where a Hirer has terms and conditions covering hiring that conflict with the terms and conditions of Louder Audio Productions Ltd, then the terms and conditions of Louder Audio Productions Ltd shall take precedence unless specifically agreed in writing by Louder Audio Productions Ltd. 

 

23. Louder Audio Productions Ltd reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, and without notice. 

 

24. VAT will be charged on all invoices at the standard rate of 20%.ll prices are subject to VAT at the applicable rate at the point of invoice. 

25. All sizes, where given, are intended for guidance only. 

 

26. The terms above and contract to which this document relates, shall in all respect be construed and operate in accordance with English Law.
